Most students experience significant amounts of stress, and this stress can take a significant toll on health, happiness, and grades.
As educational requirements become more stringent in all levels of education, students everywhere experience considerable school stress. This stress can affect performance on tests, participation in classes, and the well being of students everywhere. Therefore, it"s vital for all students to have a collection of effective stress management techniques that work.
To enhance academic productivity and reduce stress in students, the clinical psychologists at Zahedan University of Medical Sciences launched a "Stress Management Program" at Zahedan schools during School year 2019.
Exercises on how to deal with stressful situations, relaxation techniques, time management, managing academic pressures, training on courageous behavior, problem solving, adaptive coping skills, coping with unreasonable thoughts were the most important stress management techniques by presented to students by clinical psychologists working in Comprehensive Health Centers.
Stress management is one of the top 10 life skills. Life skills are abilities and behaviors that help you effectively deal with the events and challenges of everyday life. They are the skills that allow you to handle everything from interactions with others to identifying and processing your emotions.
It is worth noting that more than 30 clinical psychologists have been offering mental health services in Comprehensive Health Centers affiliated with Zahedan University of Medical Sciences since 2014.
