Major responsibilities:

1. To plan, prepare and set the general principles of educational programs and present the educational policy to the board of directors of the university and monitor the optimal implementation of them after the adoption.

2. Assessing and evaluating students' status and studying and making decisions on educational issues of students in terms of their academic progress and providing necessary reports to the chancellor.

3. Reviewing and commenting on the setting up of new disciplines and educational groups as well as new postgraduates courses of the university according to the need
