We are thrilled to welcome and congratulate all of our new students! As you settle in and begin your academic journey, we want to introduce you to the Student Research and Technology Committee. This committee plays a vital role in supporting students as they engage in research and utilize technology for their studies. We encourage you to connect with this committee to take advantage of their expertise and resources.

The Student Research Committee at Zahedan University of Medical Sciences aims to enhance knowledge and foster a culture of research among students. The committee supports collective research initiatives, guides students towards efficient and effective scientific research practices, and empowers them for growth in their research capabilities. This committee operates under the supervision of the National Student Research Committee.

Goals:

1. Promote and foster a culture of research skills among all university students.
2. Establishing a conducive platform for nurturing the development and progress of scientific and research-oriented students, as well as providing training for future researchers and leaders in the field. This platform aims to support the flourishing and advancement of students in scientific studies, while also preparing them for roles as researchers and managers in their respective fields.
3. Empowering students in research through diverse methods of theoretical and practical education.
4. Establishing a conducive ecosystem for both material and spiritual backing of the university to enhance the scientific research endeavors of the students.
5. Improving scientific-research relations between professors and students.

Membership:

Regular member: All students who have been at least three months in the university student research committee membership system since their membership.

Level 2 active membership: All the people helping the vice-chancellors, faculty officials, members of associations and active members of working groups.

Level 1 active membership: members of the Central Council, the Research Council and the managements of the Research Vice-Chancellor.
