Professor Ali Navidian 
PhD in Counselling & Guidance

 

Summary
Dr. Ali Navidian was graduated with a bachelor's degree in nursing in 1987, a Master's degree in mental health nursing in 1993 and obtained PhD degree in Counseling and Guidance in 2009. He has two years of clinical nursing experience in ICUs. He has been employed as a faculty member of the Zahedan University of Medical Sciences and a lecturer of clinical education for undergraduate and postgraduate students since 1993. At the same time he has been providing mental health counseling services both in public and private clinics since 2009. Currently he is serving as the Vice Chancellor for Development and Resource at ZAUMS.

 

Professional Experiences
Dr. Navidian has served in different managerial positions including: head nurse, ward supervisor, matron of hospital and the manager of university nursing services, sub-dean and head of the School of Nursing and Midwifery for more than 20 years. Also, He has been working as a member of the board of Iranian Nursing Association, member of the Psychology and Counseling Association, a member board of evaluation and examination of nursing, a member of the research committee and the authoring committee of the university, a member of the university audit board and a member of the national board of evaluation and accreditation of the country's educational institutions. He has been elected as a prominent university researcher for three consecutive years and the head of the nationally elected school for education.
