The briefing session for the second group of new international students was held on 13/02/2025 in the presence of the Vice Chancellor for Education, Dr. Khajeh, Vice Chancellor for Students and Cultural Affairs, Dr. Abbasi, Director of Educational Affairs, Dr. Atash Panjeh, Advisor to the Chancellor of the University for International Affairs, and experts of the International Affairs Office at the Chancellery meeting hall of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences.

In this meeting, Dr. Tabatabaei, while greeting the students and congratulating them on the New Year, congratulated the participants on the birth of Imam Ali (AS) and Father's Day.

Dr. Tabatabaei emphasized that international students are considered as ambassadors of their home country during their studies at the university, and after graduation, they will also be ambassadors of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences. He emphasized that students are expected to strive to acquire the necessary skills to play a role in various scientific and social fields and live up to the expectations.

Dr. Khajeh introduced the history of the establishment of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences, educational capacities including the number of faculty members and students, the number of faculties and teaching hospitals, educational majors, as well as the university's position in the Times International Ranking and the university's scientific achievements.

In the introduction to his speech, Dr. Tabatabaei pointed out the competitive advantages of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences in attracting and training international students from Pakistan, including cultural and religious similarities, common health problems and challenges in the region, including malaria, dengue fever, tuberculosis, thalassemia, etc. He stated that the university's educational arena is unique for teaching and managing the treatment of the above-mentioned common public health issues in the region.

He then provided explanations about the admission processes of international students, consular rules and regulations, student visas, student residence permits, leave of absence, permits to exit and return, etc., and following up on related matters and problems through the university's consular affairs office.

Dr. Atash Panjeh, the Director of educational affairs of the university, presented the educational rules and regulations regarding medical education, including the different stages of medical education, the number of hours and credits, attendance requirements, course selection and credit adding and elimination, etc.

Dr. Abbasi discussed important cultural subjects in the region, the importance of paying attention to the issue of the axis of resistance, and the solidarity and unity of the Islamic countries of the region. He explained the processes related to the services and amenities provided at the university to international students, including dormitories, self-service, transportation, health insurance, etc.

Finally, the student representative Mr. Mazhar Ali, on behalf of the newly enrolled international students expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the s from Zahedan University of Medical Sciences for accepting this student.

The meeting ended with the answers to the students' questions by the present officials and taking a group photo.

It is worth mentioning that the new international students participated in a campus tour and visited different educational facilities available on ZAUMS main campus.

زاہدان یونیورسٹی آف میڈیکل سائنسز، جنوری 2025 میں نئے بین الاقوامی طلباء کے لیے ایک شمولیتی میٹنگ منعقد ہوئی۔

نئے بین الاقوامی طلباء کے دوسرے گروپ کے لیے بریفنگ سیشن 13/02/2025 کو وائس چانسلر برائے تعلیم، ڈاکٹر خجہ، وائس چانسلر برائے طلباء و ثقافتی امور، ڈاکٹر عباسی، تعلیمی امور کے ڈائریکٹر، کی موجودگی میں منعقد ہوا۔ یونیورسٹی کے چانسلر برائے بین الاقوامی امور کے مشیر ڈاکٹر عطش پنجے اور بین الاقوامی امور کے دفتر کے ماہرین زاہدان یونیورسٹی آف میڈیکل سائنسز کے چانسلری میٹنگ ہال۔

اس ملاقات میں ڈاکٹر طباطبائی نے طلباء کو مبارکباد پیش کرتے ہوئے اور انہیں نئے سال کی مبارکباد پیش کرتے ہوئے شرکاء کو امام علی علیہ السلام کی ولادت باسعادت اور والد کے دن کی مبارکباد دی۔

ڈاکٹر طباطبائی نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ بین الاقوامی طلباء یونیورسٹی میں اپنی تعلیم کے دوران اپنے ملک کے سفیر تصور کیے جاتے ہیں اور گریجویشن کے بعد وہ زاہدان یونیورسٹی آف میڈیکل سائنسز کے سفیر بھی ہوں گے۔ انہوں نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ طلباء سے توقع کی جاتی ہے کہ وہ مختلف سائنسی اور سماجی شعبوں میں اپنا کردار ادا کرنے اور توقعات پر پورا اترنے کے لیے ضروری مہارتیں حاصل کرنے کی کوشش کریں۔

ڈاکٹر خاجہ نے زاہدان یونیورسٹی آف میڈیکل سائنسز کے قیام کی تاریخ، تعلیمی صلاحیتوں بشمول فیکلٹی ممبران اور طلباء کی تعداد، اساتذہ اور تدریسی ہسپتالوں کی تعداد، تعلیمی اداروں کے ساتھ ساتھ ٹائمز انٹرنیشنل رینکنگ میں یونیورسٹی کی پوزیشن اور یونیورسٹی کی سائنسی کامیابیاں  متعارف کرایا.

اپنی تقریر کے تعارف میں، ڈاکٹر طباطبائی نے پاکستان سے بین الاقوامی طلباء کو راغب کرنے اور تربیت دینے میں زاہدان یونیورسٹی آف میڈیکل سائنسز کے مسابقتی فوائد کی نشاندہی کی، جس میں ثقافتی اور مذہبی مماثلت، صحت کے مشترکہ مسائل اور خطے میں ملیریا، ڈینگی بخار سمیت چیلنجز شامل ہیں۔ تپ دق، تھیلیسیمیا وغیرہ۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ یونیورسٹی کا تعلیمی میدان مذکورہ عام لوگوں کے علاج کی تدریس اور انتظام کے لیے منفرد ہے۔ خطے میں صحت کے مسائل

اس کے بعد انہوں نے بین الاقوامی طلباء کے داخلے کے طریقہ کار، قونصلر قواعد و ضوابط، طلباء کے ویزوں، طلباء کے رہائشی اجازت ناموں، غیر حاضری کی اجازت، باہر نکلنے اور واپسی کے اجازت نامے وغیرہ کے بارے میں وضاحتیں فراہم کیں اور یونیورسٹی کے قونصلر امور کے ذریعے متعلقہ امور اور مسائل کی پیروی کی۔ دفتر

یونیورسٹی کے تعلیمی امور کے ڈائریکٹر ڈاکٹر عطش پنجے نے میڈیکل ایجوکیشن کے حوالے سے تعلیمی قواعد و ضوابط پیش کیے جن میں میڈیکل ایجوکیشن کے مختلف مراحل، اوقات اور کریڈٹس کی تعداد، حاضری کے تقاضے، کورس کا انتخاب اور کریڈٹ ایڈنگ اور خاتمہ، وغیرہ

ڈاکٹر عباسی نے خطے کے اہم ثقافتی موضوعات، مزاحمت کے محور کے مسئلے پر توجہ دینے کی اہمیت اور خطے کے اسلامی ممالک کی یکجہتی اور اتحاد پر تبادلہ خیال کیا۔ انہوں نے بین الاقوامی طلباء کو یونیورسٹی میں فراہم کی جانے والی خدمات اور سہولیات سے متعلق عمل کی وضاحت کی جن میں ہاسٹل، سیلف سروس، ٹرانسپورٹیشن، ہیلتھ انشورنس وغیرہ شامل ہیں۔

آخر میں طلباء کے نمائندے جناب مظہر علی نے نئے داخل ہونے والے بین الاقوامی طلباء کی جانب سے زاہدان یونیورسٹی آف میڈیکل سائنسز کی طرف سے اس طالب علم کو قبول کرنے پر اظہار تشکر اور تعریف کی۔

میٹنگ کا اختتام موجودہ عہدیداروں کی طرف سے طلباء کے سوالات کے جوابات اور گروپ فوٹو لینے کے ساتھ ہوا۔

یہ بات قابل ذکر ہے کہ نئے بین الاقوامی طلباء نے کیمپس کے دورے میں حصہ لیا اور ZAUMS مین کیمپس میں دستیاب مختلف تعلیمی سہولیات کا دورہ کیا۔
