Improving supervision of distribution and provision of medications in collaboration with pharmaceutics experts and veterans in the province of Sistan and Balouchestan amid COVID-19 pandemic
Resorting to collective wisdom and the experience of pharmaceutics veterans is one of the main strategies to meet the pharmaceutical needs of the province of Sistan and Balouchestan. Chancellor of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences Dr. Hashemi Shahri in a meeting with members and representative of Pharmacists Association of Sistan and Balouchestan Province expressed his gratitude for constructive interaction and companionship of provincial pharmacists in timely procurement of pharmaceutical needs in the province.

Chancellor of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences Dr. Hashemi Shahri in a meeting with members and representative of Pharmacists Association of Sistan and Balouchestan Province expressed his gratitude for constructive interaction and companionship of provincial pharmacists in timely procurement of pharmaceutical needs in the province.
Dr. Hashemi further added that one of our major concerns currently is coronavirus disease prevalence in the province and we make attempt to contain the disease through preventive and therapeutic measures. However, we have not neglected other health programs and with regard to medications sale no wrong action and illegal dealing willbe accepted.
Dr. Reza Keikha acting Vice Chancellor for Food & Drug of university urged the members of the Pharmacists Association to make concerted efforts with a sense of commitments to meet pharmaceutical needs of the patients in such a sensitive situation so that with sharing our thoughts and collectiveness we witness reduction of the challenges in this domain.
He said at present priority is given to the provision of strategic medications for COVID-19 and other emergency patients and with the support of pharmacists and experts we are supervising fair distribution of medications in the province.
Dr. Ebrahimi Head of Pharmacists Association of Sistan and Balouchestan Province stated that in line with the mission of Vice Chancellery for Food & Drug, we are determined to fight seriously against unfair distribution of medications in the province.
It should be noted that in the meeting the members and representatives of the Pharmacists Association exchanged their views and went on elaborating the challenges faced by pharmaceutical services.
