Zahedan University of Medical Sciences participates in the international online conference of the Association of Medical Education of Europe (AMEE 2024), August 2024

According to public relations report, Dr. Ali Khajeh, Vice Chancellor for Education at Zahedan University of Medical Sciences, said: “The AMEE 2024 international medical education conference is one of the most important scientific events in the field of medical education, which aims to improve the quality of education and exchange experiences at the international level, to review the latest developments in the field of medical education. This international event addresses the methods and challenges in this field”.

According to public relations report, Dr. Ali Khajeh, Vice Chancellor for Education at Zahedan University of Medical Sciences, said: “The AMEE 2024 international medical education conference is one of the most important scientific events in the field of medical education, which aims to improve the quality of education and exchange experiences at the international level, to review the latest developments in the field of medical education. This international event addresses the methods and challenges in this field”.

 

He continued: “This year's event highlights the importance of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the climate crisis, mentorship, quality of postgraduate education, workplace-based learning and clinical reasoning academic in medical education, and fortunately, it has provided a suitable opportunity for academic staff members, students and employees of this university to advance their knowledge in the field of medical education”.

 

He pointed out that this scientific event, with the presence of the most prominent professors and experts from across the globe, provides a unique opportunity for activists and those interested in the field of medical education, he added: “In addition to the participation of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences in this conference, 15 universities of medical sciences of the country are being participating in this important event. The medical universities host the simultaneous streamline broadcast of this scientific event”.

 

It should be noted that this international conference is held every year in a European country with the presence of prominent experts and international specialists in the field of medical education.  The AMEE 2024 is being taking place from 24-28 August 2024 at the Messe Congress Centre, Basel, Switzerland.  The Zahedan University of Medical Sciences participated in this event via videoconference.
