Abidi Pharmaceutical Company donating medical supplies and equipment to two health houses affiliated with Zahedan University of Medical, Zahedan, Iran

Abidi Pharmaceuticals is the first and the oldest Iranian pharmaceutical company in the private sector with more than 75 years of experience in manufacturing medications in Iran.

Abidi Pharmaceuticals is the first and the oldest Iranian pharmaceutical company in the private sector with more than 75 years of experience in manufacturing medications in Iran.

On the seventy-fifth anniversary of the foundation of Abidi Pharmaceutical Company, in a humanitarian movement with the theme of "House of Hope" and focusing on public education, a total of 75 health houses were equipped, mostly located in underprivileged areas of the country by this company.

In this project, two health houses affiliated with Zahedan University of Medical Sciences (i.e. JooZh and Pudechah health houses) were equipped by this company. A number of managers of Abidi Company, by visiting these health houses, donated equipment worth 3 billion Rials on the 25th and 26th of January 2022.

These items included: refrigerators, computer systems, printers, examination beds, oxygen cylinders and pressure manometers, sterilization oven, medicine cabinet, glucometer, baby weighing scale, sonicaid fetal monitor, adult weighing scale with height measuring, blood pressure machines, emergency trolley, otoscopes, laryngoscopes, and cold boxes.

It should be noted that in addition to donating equipment, the company had a number of educational booklets and posters on health-related topics and health packages distributed among the general education residing in those villages.

These training materials included subjects such as oral health and using masks and hand sanitizer. On the third day of their presence in Zahedan, after visiting the Zahedan Behvarz Training Center, the managers of this company announced that helping the people of this province is a priority of the company, and during the next Iranian year, they will plan in providing vitamin supplements to children and pregnant women, as well as implementing a health awareness campaign in cooperation with the Vice Chancellor for Health of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences.
