Medical Emergency Technicians from Zahedan University of Medical Sciences win the first three top ranks in “The 9th Scientific and Clinical Skills Olympiad of Emergency Medical Centers”

According to the public relations report, Dr. Ali Abdul Razzaq Nejad; the Director of Medical Emergency Center of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences, said: “The 9th Scientific and Clinical Skills Olympiad of Emergency Medical Centers in the southeast of the country was concluded in the city of Kerman with the election of 3 medical emergency technicians from Zahedan University of Medical Sciences as the best medical emergency technicians”.

According to the public relations report, Dr. Ali Abdul Razzaq Nejad; the Director of Medical Emergency Center of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences, said: “The 9^thScientific and Clinical Skills Olympiad of Emergency Medical Centers in the southeast of the country was concluded in the city of Kerman with the election of 3 medical emergency technicians from Zahedan University of Medical Sciences as the best medical emergency technicians”.

He continued: “In this Olympiad, Ms. Sara Sadat Mousavi Mehdiabadi, a telephone triage nurse, Mr. Afshin Koshafer; Expert in operational management and guidance (800), Mr. Farmarez Khosravi, Medical Emergency Technician received the best performance wards”.

Dr. Abdul Razzaq continued: “A total of 12 emergency technicians of Zahedan were present in the 9th scientific and skill Olympiad of emergency medicine centers in the South East of the country, and in the end, emergency 115 of Zahedan was able to win three titles and top ranks”.

He added: “In this competition, emergency medical teams from 8 universities of medical sciences in Kerman and Sistan and Balouchestan Provinces competed on October 21 and 22, 2023”.

The Director of Medical Emergency Center of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences said: “The selected technicians of this competition will compete in the national stage of the 9th Science-Skills Olympiad of Medical Emergencies, that will be held in the Holy City of Mashhad, at the end of November of this year”.

He stated that the participation of Zahedan technicians in this Olympiad will improve the level of their scientific and specialized abilities and said: “We hope that by holding these Olympiads, we will witness the improvement of the knowledge and skills of the employees and improve the provision of emergency medical services to our respected residents of the province”.

It is worth mentioning that in this Olympiad, Dr. Maryam Ziyai, an emergency medicine specialist and a faculty member of the university, was also present as an examiner.
