The Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran offer assistance to deal with COVID surge in Sistan and Balouchetsan Province
The armed forces have mobilised their resources to assist the Iran’s Ministry of Health as the country battles a devastating second wave of Covid-19. The Commander of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Chancellor of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences welcomed the doctors and nurses of the Army who arrived in Zahedan.

The armed forces have mobilised their resources to assist the Iran"s Ministry of Health as the country battles a devastating wave of Covid-19.
The Commander of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Chancellor of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences welcomed the doctors and nurses of the Army who arrived in Zahedan.
Dr. Seyed Mohammad Hashemi Shahri, Chancellor of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences, at the welcoming ceremony of the army medical staff said: "People of Sistan and Baluchestan Province will appreciate the efforts, the sacrifice made by members of armed forces of this land and I thank you on behalf of the people of the province."
The Chancellor of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences added: A medical convey involving 7 medical doctors and 43 nurses of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran arrived in Zahedan in less than 24 hours from the first meeting we had with the Commander of the Army.
The medical teams from the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran s will be delivering medical services to the COVID-19 patients admitted to the hospitals affiliated with Zahedan University of Medical Sciences, and they will provide additional care capacity for coronavirus patients.
