According to public relations report, Dr. Ali Khajeh, Vice Chancellor for Education at Zahedan University of Medical Sciences, said: “The AMEE 2024 international medical education conference is one of the most important scientific events in the field of medical education, which aims to improve the quality of education and exchange experiences at the international level, to review the latest developments in the field of medical education. This international event addresses the methods and challenges in this field”.

The third meeting of the University Internationalization Council was held on August 13, 2024 focusing on health tourism and the review of the academic calendar for international students. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Habib Ghaznavi, the university chancellor and attended by the relevant vice chancellors and directors.

According to the public relations report, Dr. Mehdi Zanganeh, Vice Chancellor for Public Health of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences, said: “Due to the identification of Aedes mosquitos in some cities of the country as well as in the southern cities of the province, strict control measures is being carried out at the borders areas of the province by healthcare workers”.

The Zahedan University of Medical Sciences has succeeded in reducing first-time caesarean sections by 3.6% in 2023.
