A Faculty Member of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences among the Winners of the Third Abidi Scientific Award

The third event for announcing the winners and awarding the "Abidi Scientific Award with a Focus on Cardiorenal Metabolic Diseases" was held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at the Espinas Palace Hotel. The third Abidi Scientific Award concluded with the recognition of three main winners and four additional awardees.

This event, attended by physicians, pharmaceutical industry professionals, and researchers, honored Dr. Maziar Sabouri in the Cardiology, Dr. Danial Molavizadeh in Diabetes, Dr. Saman Sargazi in Basic Sciences (Faculty member of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences), and Dr. Vahidreza Askari in Basic Sciences as the main winners of the third Abidi Scientific Award. In the Outstanding Articles section, Dr. Amirhossein Sahebkar in Basic Sciences, Taha Aghajani in Fatty Liver, and Dr. Soroush Masrouri in Cardiology were also recognized.

The awards were peer reviewed by a distinguished panel, including:

The "Abidi Scientific Award", aligned with Dr. Abidi Pharmaceutical Company’s mission, has been held for the third consecutive year. The goal of this award is to foster strong connections between industry and academia while supporting young researchers in producing scientific advancements.
